Single seat go karts

Single seat go karts can range in cost from about $600 to under $1,000 for beginners and about $1500-4,000 for advanced-level riders (www. gokartsetc.com). You might think that a single seat go kart with the same amount of horsepower is less expensive than a double. However, that is often not the case. The difference can be under $100 or over $500 between the two.

Be sure to look into the features it has. For example, a single and double may have the same frame, 150cc, and appear to be the same overall. If you look at the descriptions of the 1205-SX and 2575-SX, you will see that while a particular single seat go kart is for a beginning to intermediate-level rider and for flat and slightly sloping terrain, the similar double seat is designed for beginners only on flat terrain only.

So if you’re considering a single seat, don’t assume that it’s designed for the same level of experience. Remember when riding your single seat go kart to wear an approved helmet and protective eye wear. Make sure to get loose clothing or long hair out of the way, so you don’t get it caught while riding.
